  • Consent on every connection

    Available

    Every connection asks the person at the computer. The default button is Deny and, with no answer in 60 seconds, the request is refused. The dialog shows who is asking and whether the device is new or known.

  • Verification code

    Available

    A 6-digit code appears on both screens. If the codes differ, the connection should not be accepted.

  • Request and session log

    Available

    Requests and sessions are recorded on the computer being shared.

  • Remember or block devices

    Available

    You can remember a device or block it. A remembered device still has to be accepted on every connection.

  • Notice during the session

    In pre-release

    While someone is connected, the computer shows a notice that stays on top, with a button to end the session.

Connection

  • Identity and encryption

    Available

    Both computers prove their identity with Ed25519 keys, over TLS 1.3 on QUIC. The connection is end-to-end encrypted and there is no unencrypted mode.

  • Identity change warning

    Available

    If the identity of a known computer changes, AegiDesk warns you and stops the connection.

  • Local network, no server

    Available

    Works on the local network with no server. By default, it only accepts computers on the local network.

  • Automatic reconnection

    Available

    If the connection drops, AegiDesk reconnects and asks for permission again.

  • Connect by ID

    In pre-release

    Connects to a computer by its ID, outside the local network, through a server that introduces the devices and relays the encrypted data without being able to read it.

Control

  • Screen sharing

    Available

    Shows the screen of another computer. On a computer with several monitors, you can move from one monitor to another.

  • Mouse and keyboard control

    In pre-release

    It is a permission separate from viewing and can be taken back at any time. The person at the computer always has priority.

  • Limit connections by country

    In pre-release

    Accepts connections only from certain countries or zones, for example PT or EU.

  • Unattended access

    Coming soon

    A planned option that can only be turned on at the computer itself.

  • Files and clipboard

    Coming soon

    Sends files and shares the clipboard between the two computers.

  • Hardware video encoding

    Coming soon

    Encodes video on the computer’s hardware and adjusts the quality to the connection.

App

    It has a home screen with your ID, settings, an icon by the clock, light and dark themes, and comes in Portuguese and English.

Account

  • Plans and limits

    Each plan's limits (devices, session length, concurrent sessions) come from signed licences, which are not in a stable release yet.

    The account is for signing in to the app and applies the licence automatically.
